Views on Beacon Interval Workout

The last interval workout on Beacon was great!

All skill levels welcome. The workout will be adapted to the participants' levels of fitness and goals.

The workout will be in Jefferson Park, either on the paved path marked every quarter mile, which has a nice little hill to it, or around the perimeter of the golf course, which is mostly soft-surface. Either way, the distances won't be flat or precise, but it is a great venue to do some stronger-paced intervals over varied terrain.

Meet outside, in front of the Community Center.

    Woo! Running in Jefferson Park is so refreshing, with the breeze and feeling of expanse on top of Beacon Hill. I also love the activity of the skate park, playing fields, playground, driving range, and people just being out! We traipsed through the park in what I'll call washing-machine half-mile intervals. Nothing too crazy, but it feels good to say, "I would not have done that on my own," at the end of the workout. Join us next time!
