Despite the slight mixup in navigation it was a great run. Wasn't too sure I was in shape to do over 30 miles but apparently flavor-blasted goldfish are a secret super-food that carried us home. Thanks to Win and Shamai for the inventive route, the motivation and the company!

Yes, it was an adventure that's for sure! Don't worry about it Win...stuff happens. I'm just glad it all turned out OK. Plus I now have full confidence in my marathon...and ultra-marathon capabilities! I'll see you again very soon : )

Misty and Mystical run, beautiful wildflowers and yummy blue berries.
Big lesson for me. No excuses. Came into the run exhausted from a busy week at work and sleep deprivation. Got up and make lunch for the run. And proceeded to forget my lunch on the kitchen counter..hummm not good. Needed those calories. Took off on the run and forgot one of my water bottles..... estúpido !
Part way through the run I took a wrong turn. Figured it out when we asked a couple how close we were to The Stevens Canyon entrance. They said...you are on your way to White Pass. Ouch!
Low on food and a long way back. By the grace of God we ran into some hunters who had packed in supplies with 7 horses. They were very kind to give us 3 bagels, 3 candy bars and a bag of fish crackers. They saved our butts. Shamai and Brandon were great troopers and completed their longest ultra. I haven't out the distance yet, but we went over 32 miles.
    Lesson learned!
    Win

Also, there is a 50k loop option which Tim and I and some others will be doing. So if you want to go long, we'd love it if you joined us.

I hope LOTS of people join us at White River. It's a first come first served camp site so get there early in the day if you want to get a site.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
