• Red Town Trailhead at Cougar Mt. UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED

The Seattle Running Club hosts a trail run every Sunday beginning at 7:30 AM. These are generally 12 to 15 miles long over hilly terrain, with a wide range of paces. All runners -- club members and nonmembers alike -- are welcome, though we encourage regular attendees to join the club. (Membership info is available at
www.seattlerunningclub.org.) Our "default" location is the Red Town trailhead at Cougar Mountain; the run organizers will leave a comment here if going elsewhere on any given Sunday. People are also encouraged to use comments to offer carpooling assistance, etc. More information, including a map of our usual Cougar routes and directions to the Red Town trailhead, is available at
www.seattlerunningclub.org.

It was great to run into the group on Cougar this morning. I have some big runs/races planned in 2013 so I will look forward to joining you this winter and spring.

Although I could only last 3 miles, I had a great time - everyone was very motivating - and I can't wait to get back in shape and be able to keep up with the entire group. Thanks for the extra push I needed!

I am a beginner to trail running (and out of shape in street running), so I know i'll likely fall behind the first few weeks --- are there any other "beginners" or slower runners that attend the sunday runs?

Hi Katie, There are runners at different paces. We will also have shorter options so you can build your endurnace. How many miles are you running a week at this point. What is the distance of your long run? Look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
