Discuss Scala Akka and Related Technologies

A first look at OStore, a new NoSQL database and map-reduce system written in Scala using Akka.

We will also be talking about the Coursera Scala class and the new Typesafe developer contest.

    The other technology in this mix is the Play! Framework written in Java and Scala, built on Netty, and uses Akka as well. What have people done or are planning to do with this framework? Can anyone explain all the moving parts in this kind of framework?
