Oct 31 - Halloween T or T paddle Lake Union -For those that have their own kayak

Another reverse trick or treat event, we wear costumes and bring treats ;-)

Bring a headlight, glowsticks or reflective tape on your paddle, a pfd and a wet or drysuit. and treats to give to the houseboaters.

Yes, I do read my emails, including the requests for specific events ;-) We did this a couple of years ago and it was fun. Dress up in a costume. I will contact a few houseboaters, we bring treats with us and offer them to the houseboaters, they often offer some to us. Afterwards we can find a place to get food and drinks. Bring lights. If you know any houseboaters let me know.

I am cross posting this to two other groups as well. Seattle Get Up and Get Out, Human Powered Touring,

So far I am bringing kayaks for the following people - if you need to borrow and don't see your name on the list - contact me.

This is the "For those that need to borrow" meetup.

If you have your own kayak then sign up at:

It should be a fun time, see you on the water soon - Saul

Saul, very interested in this outting. I normally paddle with ssak. I was wondering if there is any special requirements before going with you guys for a night paddle?

Mark, it looks like I forgot to put in the night paddle information. I will add it. But basically it is bring the USCG required torch - a headlamp is the easiest as are cyalume sticks taped to your paddle. Stay close to the other paddlers as it is harder to spot if someone is having a problem when they wander off.
