Women's Transformational Kayak Journey - Bainbridge Island to Blake Island

This is a two night trip from Bainbridge Island to Blake Island that is going to be great fun for all ages and experience levels.

I, Spring Courtright, am a kayak guide and yoga instructor, and the other guide, Maria Cook, has been an Outward Bound seamanship instructor and is an acupuncturist/massage therapist on Bainbridge Island. We wanted to share our combined knowledge and love of kayaking with women on a special, local trip. I hope you'll join us! There are only 4 spots left, so don't dilly dally if you're interested. You can bring your own kayak or we have kayak rentals available. We'll have delicious, organic food, yoga on the beach, a walk in the woods on beautiful Blake Island, skill lessons tailored to the group, activities geared towards helping us all reach out potential as wild and wonderful women in this world, and quiet, personal, relaxation time. We'll meet and camp at the Washington Water Trails site at Fort Ward Park on Bainbridge Island the first day, then, after a brief lesson, we'll take a leisurely paddle to Blake Island where we'll eat, hike, camp, relax and chat (and maybe even nap!) through the next day. If the group is up for it, we make take a night paddle or other short exploration paddles together. The trip is normally $275, but if you say you're part of Meetup and register by August 3, you'll get $25 off. I'm really excited for this trip! Please consider joining me and spread the word :)

We do hope this adventure goes so well that we want to do it again and again...and that we can take our journeys far and wide. I'll keep you posted!
