Summer is here, the weather is supposed to be nice on Sunday, it's time for a paddle.
As discussed earlier with the cost of maintaining the gear, I am starting to post events separated into the ones where people borrow gear (I'll charge $10 for those) and ones where people have their own gear (those will remain free).
This sign up is for those of you that have your own gear.
It's supposed to be a beautiful day, my business trip has been postponed, so it's a great chance to go for a paddle. We will put in at Tracy Owens Park also known as Logboom Park in Kenmore. It's just below the intersection of Hwy 522 and 61st Ave NE. We'll go over some safety stuff and then head out for a paddle to get to know each other, see some wildlife (beaver, turtle, blue herons, etc.) Paddling makes you hungry so we'll have a potluck BBQ afterwards. What to bring: o Prepare to get wet, You might want to bring a towel and change of clothes. o Water bottle. There's water and restrooms at the park.
