Salmon Kayak Tour

Welcome the salmon home from a kayak! Salmon jump all around us as we visit a salmon hatchery and paddle in a local stream.

This trip is on the Kitsap Peninsula, just a 30 minute ferry ride and 20 minute drive from downtown Seattle or Edmonds. It's led by Spring Courtright, a naturalist guide for the Olympic Outdoor Center. You can rent a kayak or bring your own. A smoked salmon snack is included and a brief lesson or refresher are part of the tour if there are beginning kayakers.

ALL ages and experience levels are welcome. This is a really fun way to get out and play with the salmon!

$55/adult with kayak rental, $45/adult with own kayak, $25/youth

Not being from here, where would I find ferry information such as location, departure time, and time? Thanks!

Alright, I think I've figured out my route. Is anyone else headed there from Seattle? Thinking a car pool would be a good idea.
