Anywhere which looks interesting. I like to explore.
So far I've most enjoyed Ross Lake, Sucia Island and Blake Island campouts. Also, I really enjoy tidal runs when there is a noon-time tide turnaround (saves on having to shuttle.) Agate Pass, Tacoma Narrows, Hammersley Inlet and Deception Pass are some places that are great for this.
I have practiced several self + assisted rescues, and rolling at BEWET, kayakacademy, WKC and Mountaineers pool sessions. Some Deception Pass ferrying, eddy current and standing wave practice. About 95% on the rolls. My favorite rescue technique is "The Dump." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIeYHwWs5pc
