What new place do you want to paddle in this year?

Anywhere which looks interesting. I like to explore.

What is your favorite place to paddle here in the NW?

So far I've most enjoyed Ross Lake, Sucia Island and Blake Island campouts. Also, I really enjoy tidal runs when there is a noon-time tide turnaround (saves on having to shuttle.) Agate Pass, Tacoma Narrows, Hammersley Inlet and Deception Pass are some places that are great for this.

What is your sea kayaking experience level (beginner, intermediate, expert)?

I have practiced several self + assisted rescues, and rolling at BEWET, kayakacademy, WKC and Mountaineers pool sessions. Some Deception Pass ferrying, eddy current and standing wave practice. About 95% on the rolls. My favorite rescue technique is "The Dump."

Where are some of the places you have been kayaking?

Lakes Washington, Union, Kachess, Keechelus, Ross, and Deep. Duwamish and Skagit Rivers. Mercer Slough, San Juan Island, Redondo, Dash Point, Fauntleroy, Lincoln Park, Picnic Point-Possession Point, Agate Pass, Rich Passage, Point Monroe, Blake Island, Cutts Island, Matia Island, Sucia Island, Roche Harbor - Posey Island - Stuart Island, Washington Park-Burrow's-Allan Islands, Bowman Bay, Deception Pass, Lummi to Patos Island, DesMoines to Pt. Robinson, Chuckanut Bay, Vendovi-Cypress-Strawberry-Clark Islands, Buccaneer Bay, Smugglers Cove, Commencement Bay, Golden Gardens, West Point, Hood Canal, Penrose Point, Hammersley Inlet, Hope Island, Tacoma Narrows and circumnavigated Maury Island.

I like to get outside once in a while.
