What new place do you want to paddle in this year?

Somewhere where there is warm water.

What is your favorite place to paddle here in the NW?

I don't have one favorite place but I think the ocean at La Push is the most beautiful place, Lake Sammamish, my home waters is peaceful in the morning and easy for me to get to, and next would be the South End of Lopez Island.

What is your sea kayaking experience level (beginner, intermediate, expert)?

Expert and continually learning. I started out (1996) learning in sit on top kayaks and surfing out at the coast and then later took surf and sea kayak lessons with Kayak Academy and am now certified with the American Canoe Association (ACA).

Where are some of the places you have been kayaking?

I have done many day paddle tripsaround the Puget Sound and for the last 8 years been assistant instructor with Kayak Academy Exposed Coast Course in Sitka Alaska.

I joined to get to know more kayakers.
