What new place do you want to paddle in this year?

I'd like to paddle any place that's close by--Lake Washington primarily.

What is your favorite place to paddle here in the NW?

In the NW, I've only paddled on Mercer Slough and in the arboretum.

What is your sea kayaking experience level (beginner, intermediate, expert)?

I guess I'm intermediate. I've canoed and kayaked many times over many years but I have never taken a class and I don't know how to read charts or roll. I'm not comfortable going out by myself.

Where are some of the places you have been kayaking?

Mostly in CA: Tomales Bay, Mono Lake, San Francisco Bay, Elkhorn Slough...

Little makes me happier than a fine day paddling. I'm looking for people who can introduce me to good places to paddle, help me figure out what gear I should buy and get me out on the water--even when it's cold outside.
