Re: [seakayaking-35] Seatttle sea kayaking group news update

Saul, I've got two options. Alaskan Copper & Brass on Sixth Ave right
down near you has quite a bit of parking, if you asked them. And the
better, security wise would be down on Harbor Island, down near the
end by Todd Shipyard, there are good ( highly visible ) long spots for
a PU and Kayak Trailer. It's a very secure area, Port of Seattle and
DOT Cops are always around. And it would be a short jaunt of a bike
ride to your 6th and Spokane Street Bridge. Good luck, I know the
angst as I had someone try to rip my boat off while I was parked at
Alki and damaged my rack.

That way I can load the boats before work and bring them with me. This will make it easier to hold paddles closer to downtown.

Since locks are so easy to cut with modern cordless tools, i'd like to find either a safe place to park in Seattle that I can ride my bike from or someone that lives or works near Kenmore that would be willing to drive the truck and trailer to meet at the launch point after work which will generally be on Lake Union.
