Meetup Description: The weather forecast is good this weekend, so let?s meet for a Sunday morning paddle on Lake Washington. We?ll paddle until lunch time.

Meeting Place: Matthews Beach Park at 10am.

Rating: This trip is rated ?protected? or SK1. Participants must have their own kayak and all of their own gear. Because of the water temperature a wet suit or dry suit is required.

What to bring:
Kayak, paddle, Paddle Float and Bilge Pump.
PFD, Clothes for paddling, Kayak Shoes,
Change of clothes for after, towel.
Water and snacks.
Sun Screen, Rain Hat
Sense of Humor and fun.

Directions to the meeting place:
From I-5 going North take junction 171 for State Highway 522 towards Lake City Way. Drive North on Lake City Way to NE 95th Street. Turn right and go East to Sand Point Way. Turn right, then after 0.1m turn left at NE 93rd Street. This leads to Matthews Beach Park.

From I-5 going South take junction 175 for NE 145th St. Drive East to 15th Ave NE and turn right, drive South to NE 125th St. and turn left. This eventually turns into Sand Point Way. Turn left at NE 93rd Street. This leads into the park.

If you?re coming along 520 from the East side you can take the Montlake Boulevard exit, go N. past the Husky Stadium and the University, and continue N. on Sand Point Way.
