A lot of great new meetups in the Seattle Sea Kayaking Group.

During the few days, we've posted more than 10 events and to try and keep the email notifications managable I'm only sending out this one email rather than one for each event.

We have multiple events each week for most of the next two months.

We have skills sessions every Tuesday in August.

We have multiple overnight trips to the San Juans and to Blake Island, with more coming soon.

We have 6 paddles with BBQ's in August.

We have a meetup at the West Coast Sea Kayak Symposium and Randy is working on camping arrangements.

With all of these great events, you should consider checking the calendar and joining us for a paddle.

To see the list of meetups either click on the Calendar link on the left side of the page seakayaking meetup webpage or click on this direct link :

As far as where we go and what we do, all of us as organizers have our favorite places, but we are trying to let our members help us drive things by using polls to select some of our activities and locations, so take a look at the polls, vote and make yourself heard:

So far most people that have answered the polls want overnight kayak camping trips and skills training, so we've been adding both.

As you probably already know, on meetups I organize, I usually have a few extra kayaks that I can loan out. The number varies quite a bit depending on whether friends of mine are using them that day. The best thing you can do is state that you need to borrow a kayak in the comments on your RSVP and I will let you know if I have one for
you. I was pleased at the last two meetups that everyone that borrowed either showed up or notified me (even if one did email me after we already launched, so I was towing an empty kayak ;-)

If an event is full but you really want to do it, RSVP No ;but in your comments state that you are waiting for an opening and I will try to accomodate you. Sometimes I can borrow additional boats.

Please take a look at the calendar and we'll see you on the water soon.
