For Lake Union / Lake Washington, my favorite put-in is Waterway #18, 1/2 block west of NE Northlake Way and N Pacific St (just east of Gas Works Park).? There's free street parking and the beach is just a walk across the street so carrying the kayak won't exhaust you.
For the Magnolia area, my favorite put-in is a hard to find beach at the end of 32nd Ave W.? From there, I paddle to downtown Seattle, then across to West Seattle, and back to Magnolia.? It makes for a good workout.
