Does anyone in this meetup have experience with Port Washington Narrows in current?

Sunday, June 2, we came through northbound at about 1.3 knots flood current and southbound at about 1.1 knots ebb current. It was placid both ways and seemed like a smooth channel. Next Sunday, June 9, I plan to come through southbound at 2.7 knots max ebb current, and, depending on how that goes, decide whether to come back northbound at the 3.7 knots max flood current, or to come back through sometime before or after the flood peak.
