What are Smart Textures?

Substances are hybrid assets that can have multiple outputs to generate complete texture sets based on the same set of parameters. You can tweak and adjust exposed Substance parameters right inside of Unity and modify them at runtime on PC and Mac. It's integrated into Unity since 3.0 (link).

Join us for a talk with artist Ronnie Ashlock on how this can benefit your game, as well as an overview on how to use the Substance Designer tool to create your own smart textures!

Duh sorry @Giri @Corey. I think there's a "511 Boren Ave" which is on the other side of the freeway, while The Easy is at "511 Boren Ave N." I did leave a sign on the door but that probably didn't help if you went to the other Boren ave. Will make a note of that next time!

Great food, loved the venue again and enjoyed the presentation. Something I would definitely not have known about otherwise.

I almost missed it last month too... got lucky, honestly. Maybe next month we can put a sign on the door to help some of the new folks out. Great event tonight, thanks again for putting this together Brandon, and thanks Ronnie for your time and great info on Substance Designer!

Google Maps is WAY off. It's near the intersection of Boren and Republican, in a hole in the wall north along Boren. A warning would have been nice.

It's the small brown building that's south of the north most amazon building on Boren N. if you can find Swedish, go across the street and south.

I wasn't able to find either

I can't find this place for the life of me. Where is it in relation to the amazon building?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
