SceneMerge (makes it easier to merge scenes)

I've been doing a lot of NGUI front-end work lately. And I've been working on a team with 6 other designers. And we found ourselves clobbering each other's work. We'd have to sound the alarm when a scene change was happening, so nobody lost work. And still occasionally a button stops clicking through because some reference was lost. Lately after any scene change or prefab change happens when I get the latest code, I immediately reload the scene to avoid loss. After this happened enough times, I looked at the scene format and added a tool to always sort the content in the same way. That way when I make 1 change, I only see one change. I immediately rushed it to the asset store, because it's the most requested fix that I hear about or run into.

SceneMerge is now available in the Unity Asset Store:

I have a forum post where you can make feature requests or provide scene examples that are still difficult to merge.

This adds a great function for complex scenes! Care to do a demo at one of our meetups soon? :)

For demos I typically record a premade video demo like this.

I'm way out in Monroe, WA but it would be nice to see other Unity folks. It would be cool to rent out the Movie theater or something and host some user event there...
