Community, local food systems, resilient local ecosystems: what's not to love about the Beacon Food Forest?! Beacon Food Forest is a perennial, self-sustaining, permaculture project, with fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, herbs, and plenty of other edible plants, available for neighbors to tour, touch, and taste. It is in the process of being built, and will eventually cover 7 acres.
Come tour this exceptional edible wilderness growing in our own backyard!
