An oft-neglected part of gardening is winter-gardening, though we are lucky to live in a place where we can grow fresh produce year-round. If you are actually trying to subsist off of what your garden is producing, overwintering crops and root-cellaring are extremely important ways in which we can keep our gardens productive and working for us when most people have hung up their gardening tools for the year.
The season is peaking, but it is not too early to begin planning for the winter months that are to come. In this workshop, Master Gardener John Valentine will be talking about overwintering vegetables, root-cellaring and other great techniques that will help you get the most out of your garden all year long.
NOTE: This workshop will NOT cover canning and food preservation.

As always, this class is offered free to the community, but we do look to your RSVP's so we can plan how many chairs and handouts to provide. You do not have to RSVP anywhere other than here.
Thanks! Hope to see you there!
