SCH November Event: Fermentation series: Bread Baking with a Starter (Sourdough)

Sustainable Capitol Hill Presents:

Great for breadmaking beginners, and experienced bread bakers interested in learning a new technique. Based on the "5 Minute Bread" method, this will allow you to make one large batch of bread dough with a starter, instead of commercial yeast, that you can use over the next few days. Please note, this bread will not actually be sour.

Thank you for putting this on, we had a great time. We did leave behind a small butter knife -- it's stainless steal, about 4 inches long, very thin, and about a quarter inch wide. If Gina happens across it in the common room, my mother would be happy to have it back :-) I was sure I put it in our bag, but when we got home, it wasn't there... Leilah.

Yes, there was a suit jacket left. We've already found the owner to that.

Please bring a small container if you would like to take some sourdough starter home with you. (you will get a tablespoon or less, but enough to make your own)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
