Sustainable Capitol Hill May Meeting: Container Gardening with Seattle Tilth

Spring is coming, and it's time to get those plants in the ground! But what if you don't have a yard?
Never fear, there are plenty of options with container gardening! Seattle Tilth will be presenting on how to keep a thriving garden even if you live in an apartment.

*And don't worry, you don't need to live in Capitol Hill either, it's just presented by the neighborhood sustainable group.

Please bring something tasty to share, and some reuseable utensils and plates. We'll start at 6:30pm with a potluck and start the presentation at 7:00pm.
Hope to see you there!

I really enjoyed this meetup. We discussed containers, soil mix, plant selection, potting technique, fertilizing, cover cropping, lighting, mulching etc...and at the end, we even got some seeds to get started. Looking forward to what ever is next!

I was especially interested in asking about where to find inexpensive natural terra cotta pots. Hope to find you next month!

Sorry for the late notice, but there will also be silkscreening at the end of the event tonight. So bring something you'd like the SCH logo on - tshirts, totebags, whatever you might want!
