Looks like people I want to be with now, to change this planet into a beautiful garden with all beings living in harmony with nature. To learn, to teach, to share. .
I moved here from Texas, visiting Seattle since the early '70s. I loved the Ringing Cedars of Russia series. I have done a fair bit of world travel (my passion along with art). I loved being a homemaker and dabbled in many things: cooking, baking, sewing, weaving, drawing, painting, pottery, including cooking world cuisines, grinding my own flours, making bread, home-made pasta, kombucha, yogurt, organic foods, sustainable living, gardening, recycling, probably many more I haven't listed. I used to cook birds my ex-husband had hunted, and now my diet is mostly vegetarian to vegan, and when there is a supply of yard eggs from families who treat their hens as pets and feed them only organic foods. I'm interested in non-GMO products. I live with my adult daughter, and we have a black lab and 4 indoor cats. They get much raw food now, with some high-quality canned added, for variety. I now have a space in the Shoreline Twin Ponds Community Gardens, and am a member of Seattle Tilth.
Shoreline, east of I-5. Right by North City.
I have made many things myself in the kitchen in the past, and did a little gardening, back when I was raising a family. It's been a number of years since, so I'm a bit rusty, but still familiar with the processes, and could certainly assist.
