Hey Dorothy, I just turned 65 last month..moved back to Seattle after being away for 9 years. Have you found any luck in meeting people through meetup. Have you found any groups of people mostly in our age group? I really want to make some friendships and get out and enjoy life.

so for the long lapse of time. the event you did in seattle was on EASTER! as soon as we realized that, we scheduled ours for a different day (but said we were copying a great idea from you!). if we had posted ours for easter, we would have made our own arragnements with managment of both places and told our members that nearby in the room would be southsound singles folks (and likely, the managers would have all sat us together or near). but i would not of broken the rule..
