Why are you interested in joining this group?

Well, I was hoping to pull a Tom Sawyer and get a few people to come over and whitewash my fence.

Tell us about yourself & your interests.

My religious belief is to walk my dog every day and shop from edges of the grocery store. I've been self-employed most of my life. Eating is huge for me, I do it almost every day. When I was younger, I could do it five times a day, and all night long! Now I have to stop occasionally to have sex. Sleeping is another thing which I really enjoy, but don't do enough of. If you're not already doing this, you have to try it, it is really under rated. During those fleeting moments that I am not working, eating or sleeping, I would enjoy hiking, skiing back country or downhill, yoga, walking, driving but not in traffic or through Tacoma or Everett (sorry T&E!), camping, playing guitar and singing, taking pictures, being by the ocean, cooking and eating. I seek out hot springs wherever I travel. I used to brew beer, now I'd rather just drink it. I've mastered the scratch margarita. Tobacco makes me dizzy.

Please tell us where you live so others in the same community can connect with you if appropriate.

I live in a van down by the Duwamish River near the West Seattle Bridge. Please see photo for exact location.

What expertise, if any, do you bring to the group that you could share?

Years of agricultural experience, contracting, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, land clearing and shaping, contamination removal and restoration planting, hydroponics, septic tanks, utility installation, drainage control, wood shop tools and their calibration, repair of just about anything short of complex electronic circuits and modern emissions systems, expertise in identification of both edible and hallucinogenic mushrooms. I just finished building a thousand square foot greenhouse with inflated roof and propane heat, with full utilities installed and catch basins for drainage to storm sewers. I own and use every imaginable tool from chainsaws to micrometers, multimeters to lasers. I can operate heavy equipment. I’m a BJCP certified beer judge, former brewer and equipment manufacturer. I ran a pub tour business.

What is the best phone number for members to reach you at if needed?
