Ninety-nine percent of animals killed in the United States each year die to be eaten.
This Meetup is for people interested in helping to end this atrocity by educating the general public (pre-vegans as an extreme optimist might say) about what goes on in factory farms, and how people can save animals simply by choosing not to eat them.

There are many many good places to leaflet - basically anywhere with a good crowd: concerts, college campuses, festivals - you name it - they are all opportunities for us to get out there an spread the vegan message.

I'll provide the leafleting materials (Why Vegan booklets, Compassionate Choices booklets, Vegetarian Starter Kits, Veg Restaurant Guides), and support for first timers. You just need to sign up.
