MV(Rock)* - User Interface Design Pattern Extravaganza!

Models and Views and Controllers oh MY!

Dusty Jewett will be taking you on a guided tour of the different User Interface Design Patterns found in current applications.  We'll be looking at framework-agnostic code to see what the REAL differences are between MVC, MVP and MVVM are.  We won't be looking at Backbone, or Knockout, Ember, SproutCore, Angular, Batman, Spine, Knockback, Closure, or YUI... instead, you'll get a solid foundation in the patterns and ideas that drive these frameworks, and any new framework that comes along.

TekSystems will be providing food, and we'll be socializing afterwards at the Red Door.

Dusty Jewett is a Software Engineer in Seattle that focuses on Front End Development.  He spends his days working on "Enterprise" development, and his evenings working on smaller projects and managing the Seattle Web App Developers Meetup.

Thank you... loved the agnostic approach combined with showing the same problem domain tackled using the different architectures... helps me get through a lot of the noise out there.

good kick start into the other MV-'s (only knew of MVC). presentation was on point after getting up to speed, got some good notes, and the demo was a really good example.
