Free mini workshop: Building an Author Platform

Jen and Kerry generously come to speak to our group about how to build your author platform. FREE mini workshop.

Build a Killer Author Platform with Jen Worick and Kerry Colburn
January 13, 2-3pm

What is an “author platform” anyway, and how can you create one? Our proven Business of Books system will help you build a killer author platform that demands attention. In this informal talk, learn concrete ways to leverage the many strengths and attributes that you can bring to the table as an author. You'll leave with a fresh perspective and solid ideas on how to promote yourself as an author.

Jennifer Worick and Kerry Colburn are the dynamic duo behind “The Business of Books with Jen & Kerry” (bizofbooks.com), a successful publishing workshop series. Kerry is the former executive editor of Chronicle Books and the author of a variety of titles, including “How to Have Your Second Child First.” Jennifer, previously editorial director of Running Press, has co-authored or written more than 25 books, including her newest, “Things I Want to Punch in the Face.” They’ve each brought many successful titles to market.
