Re: [writers-1146] First Annual Heartbreakers Reading

Hi K

I would very much like to read some selected excerpts from The Other War at your soiree. My health has deteriorated quite a bit and I may only be able to spend a half hour with all of you. If that will work, it might give some inspiration to the others - You and I actually landed a traditional non vanity publisher, and our book is selling at B and N, Amazon, etc

Subject: [writers-1146] First Annual Heartbreakers Reading

Announcing a new Meetup for Seattle Writers Group - Daylight Hours!

What: First Annual Heartbreakers Reading

When: Friday, February 12,[masked]:00 PM

Where:
Thornton-Place Private Amenities Room
337 NE 103rd St Plaza level, near subway
Seattle, WA 98125

Our group has been together for a year, it's time to hear what you've been writing!

Come to our fireside reading and youll be rewarded with ten vast minutes in which to share your work. Fiction, poetry, prose, scenesall are welcomed.

Themes of love, lust and heartache and heartbreak are encouraged due to the amorous holiday weekend.

There will be a break after every fifth reader in which well play some post-modern writing games so that all may participate. These are great fun, I promise.

Coffee providedso will a couple bottles of red wine. We have enough coffee for everyone. Please bring more wine. And chocolates.

We have the swank private room at the Thornton-Place complex across the street from Northgate mall. The chairs are big and comfy and the fire flares up with a flick of a switch.

No cost. Sign-up on arrival for your reading slot. Free parking in the garage under the building.
