Is anyone interested in taking over Wednesday group?

A former member
Well, I'm going to have a different work schedule soon, so I will need to give up running Wednesday group. And to be quite frank, though I've met some great new people in the last couple of months, my ulterior purpose in taking over Wednesday was to try to reassemble the original, fun group of friends who used to meet on that day! I didn't really manage that (with a few exceptions--thanks, Pat & Ann), but it was worth a try. Meanwhile, I'm missing the rest of you, so it will be nice to switch back to Fridays.

The question is: would anyone else like to take over as moderator for Wednesday? You don't have to do anything special, just show up as often as possible and be friendly and welcoming to newbies. There is currently a table reserved for Wednesdays at 1 p.m. at Wayward Cafe (one of the big tables at the back; the cafe staff usually puts up a sign).

If not, I can be the moderator of record for a while, though I won't be turning up often. On the other hand, maybe Wednesday is no longer a good day for anybody? In that case, rather than let it drift pathetically on with no one attending (as was the case at the beginning of the year), maybe we should cancel it altogether? --If so, I can notify the staff of Wayward that we no longer need the table.

What does everybody think?

A huge thanks Robin for taking a shot at the Wednesday group. I'm very grateful for the time you've put in!

It's possible that Mayanka would be interested in taking over the slot. She may move the time and place, but I said that was fine.

We like your fun, empowering energy, so keep coming back! Stop in on Fridays when you get the chance.

Hi ladies,

I'm willing to take it over. I would move the location to Belltown probably. I will scout some locations tomorrow. Can someone give me whatever permissions I need to edit the meetup location?
