My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-N2Fn1tP3Q

http://www.screenvision.com/cinema-events/my-little-pony-equestria-girls-rainbow-rocks/

Guess what? We're going to have a theater showing Rainbow Rocks on premiere weekend!  The movie is scheduled to start at 1:30 pm, however I would suggest showing up early.

This is the same theater that showed the original movie last year.  I've been told that they now have a new screen that should provide for a much better viewing experience.  Come and enjoy the movie on the big screen with your friends!

This theater also has screenings on September 28 at 1:30 pm and October 1 at 7:00 pm.

If there was an issue, it might be worth explaining what the problem was in general terms without mentioning names. (Sometimes it's hard to know exactly how our behavior is perceived by others, so that kind of feedback is important.)

I'll be addressing it soon enough. This sort of thing is part of a page I've been meaning to make for the site. I'm glad to say though that we haven't had much of a problem when it comes to this.

As it would turn out, I must have injured myself this past weekend. It didn't really peak until Monday morning, but I've been limping to and from work the past few days. Fortunately, I'm almost completely healed! I sent out the photo, Meghan retweeted it, and it did get a good amount of attention. Maud Pie even gave it a favorite!

Hey people who are going, I have a question for you!

As you may have seen, I run a podcast called Pony 411. I want to do audio interviews after the movie to talk about overall thoughts and whatnot. They'd be pretty short, around 5 minutes or so each.

Are any of you interested in doing this?

Also went again to the Sunday showing... Yes it was that good! Anyway, good crowd, lots of kids and families. Saw some folks from the meetup herd that couldn't make it Saturday. Had a chance to talk with some really great, supportive parents of bronies. Positive reactions all around.

I think after the movie outside the theater may work the best. The lobby would be a bit crowded.

I would avoid downtown totally if possible. (Or come first thing in the morning) Tomorrow's traffic promises to be lousy with a Sounders game at Century Link at 1pm, Huskies in the U District at 1pm, Seattle Aids Walk on Capital Hill in the morning, Mariners at 6pm at Safeco & Elton John at KeyArena in the evening. Eak!

A lot more updates have been made to the screenvision page. September 27/28 is for real the premiere weekend. Kiggins has even been pushed into October (although they'll be showing it throughout the month). Seattle, Tacoma, and Kennewick have the earliest screenings with several more theaters now added with screenings on October 1 and 4.

    1 · September 2, 2014

Unfortunately, I might cancel my rsvp for this event because there is actually a showing on the 27 in Tacoma at Grand Cinema, and it is a good 40 minutes closer to me. It would be great to watch the premiere with other fans, but hey, we'll all see the movie either way.

There have been updates to the screenvision list. For what it's worth, Kennewick is also going to be showing the movie for those that are that far out. More earlier screenings have been added, but none for the Seattle area yet. The Admiral said they'd inquire about it, so we'll see if something comes of it.

As some of you have probably seen, the home release has been announced for October 28.

I was told that they are looking at four options for timeslots. Early and late afternoon on both Saturday and Sunday. They'll definitely have at least two showings, but if you have a preference mention it here.

Additionally, they bought a bigger screen, so the picture won't be cut off this time.

  • Avenue P.

I would love to go to this! (My travel schedule for work isn't likely to interfere either, which is a bonus). It would be great to have a brony-specific screening and a double feature is even better. :-) I'm not usually available on Friday nights though because I'm often flying back to SeaTac then (and weeknights are out for me too because I'm usually on the road). My husband would like to go, too - and he is usually worked to the bone on Fridays and too tired to do anything. So if you are able to schedule either a Brony-specific screening and/or a double feature, we would personally prefer Saturdays or Sundays for that. So glad this is happening. YAY!
