Not only is it the base definition of being a fan of the show, but it's doing your best to live up to the ideals and principles taught in the show and community, and not just to fellow or potential bronies; to any and everyone around you, although just as if not more important for me is to respect the boundaries and interests of others that you try to convince to indulge in the show and fandom as well, and not force it if they aren't as interested or as enthusiastic as you in this fandom. It's their loss, not yours.
I'm an avid creative writer, and I hope to start making my mark on the fandom with some fics I've been brainstorming as well as creative pieces in general, and getting more directly involved in the local brony communities, like with this meetup!
There's just too many ponies to love in this show, but if I had to pick one it'd have to be Rarity!
I've been a brony for a little over a year now but I've only recently gotten more involved in the fandom when I went to to my first 'con, Everfree Northwest, last summer. I live in Bellingham, and I can't wait to get to know all of you :)
This convention wouldn't have been what it was without all of the so very dedicated bronies in this group, from the committed staffers to the equally passionate attendees. I got to know so many over this past weekend, and yet I still know so few. I hope to change that in the near future, and to open up more to the Meetup group as a whole. After all, they were such an important part of what made the convention so great that it would almost be a disservice not to make friends with such great people.
