Okay, so several of us are talking about starting planning Bronyfest Northwest 2012. The first few meetings should be only for those willing to be the core planners/board & we should make the public meetings AFTER we get things like location, dates & times hashed out. Some are thinking 2 days, I'm actually leaning towards 2 1/2 days (plugged as 3 days to those coming), but that's me.
I talked with Bejoty & Frosty, and we do have some good ideas, but we also need to decide what will and won't work for us. So, when should we actually meet in person to discuss all this? I'm thinking we could meet at a coffee shop or similar in Seattle next weekend or the weekend after. The idea being it's a quiet place to discuss business without much hassle. And, most can get to Seattle without too much trouble. Plus, WiFi is good!
So, that's me tossing out the initial idea there. What say you all, who may want to work towards this event possibly becoming an official convention?
