From Tim Eyman:

"This coming Monday, October 26th from 6:30-8:30 pm at Edmonds Community College, I'll be doing a town hall meeting with 200 citizens concerning I-1033 and the initiative process and our involvement in it. Half the crowd will be supporters, half will be opponents, and a bunch of students will attend. I fully realize that our supporters have families and work for a living (obligations our opponents do not share) so I know it's tough to make time for these kind of things, but the evening promises to be very interesting so if you can attend, I'd love to see you there. Shoot me a quick email and I'll get you a ticket. Governor Gregoire was asked to do it but she said "Gaaaaaawd no" and Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon agreed to do it, then backed out. So it'll just be lil' ol' me. It'll be televised and many in the media will attend. We can't afford TV or radio - heck, we can't even pay for campaign signs - these events are our only opportunity to talk with voters. Let me know if you can come."

Note that even thought the debate opponents backed out, you can bet the media and audience will ask tough questions, so there will still be a debate of sorts. Should be informative and entertaining!

Here's more information excerpted from Alex Rion's announcement:
