Mandarin Sunday, anyone?

Naked City (8564 Greenwood Ave N) has an all day happy hour on Sundays and a beautiful patio with big picnic tables that would be great for lots of people to sit and chat.

I wasn't able to go to today's event but I hope it went well and hope that there will be more of these Mandarin chat meetups soon (pretty please)!

It looks like Naked City Brewery has seating inside, too, so I'm going to keep the location the same. We can definitely check out Chocolati at a future meetup!

Also, I will be bringing nametags tomorrow, so that's an easy way for you to spot our group.

    明天见!

Are we still meeting at naked city brewery or are we going to Chocolati café instead? My vote is for Chocolati.

Having just looked at the current weather forecast for Sunday ("overcast with a chance of rain in the afternoon"), and at the website and menu of Naked City ( nakedcitybrewing.com ), I'm wondering if the Chocolati cafe very near that ( chocolati.com ) would be a lot more conducive to putting words together in Chinese, because the background music at Chocolati is low, there are tables available (inside) that are large enough to accommodate a group our size, and there's good coffee ( --always an important element, from my perspective :> ). The prices are better as well. I think Chocolati might also have beer.
Location: 8319 Greenwood, between 84th and 83rd on Greenwood.
    What do you all think?

Can one of the admin set the place and time for this? I think we all agreed to do this Sunday afternoon around 3pm. Thanks!

I agree that we should start next week at about 3 pm.

I suggest next Sunday since its going to a short notice if we do it today (9/15). I agree with Matt. We should set up a regular Mandarin meetup like the Cantonese one either weekly or biweekly.

Naked City is a great location. 我期待着 (looking forward to) 有趣的讨论。 I'd prefer 12noon, 12:30, or 4 or 5pm Sunday.
I lived in Xian for a year and a half, years ago, and still enjoy studying Chinese.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
