DocuTalk@911 Seattle Media Arts Center (new venue)

New location!  We are coming back home and meeting at 911 Media Arts Center.  There is a classroom space with a nice projector for viewing.  It is quiet, intimate and private.

Our meetings are for networking and sharing of ideas. Feel free to bring a short clip of something that you're working on, that you've completed or just something that inspires you. Something to inspire conversation. We can handle almost any format.  If you have some interesting hardware or camera to show off, please do.

So come and meet other documentary film makers / enthusiasts.  You might just meet the next camera operator, editor or producer for your next or current project.  Don't forget to bring your business cards.  We usually run over two hours.  I'm not strict on the time, whatever works for people.

I am interested and open to ideas concerning future meetings.  I'd like your feedback and suggestions.

Good to see y'all last night. Thanks for assembling us, Stuart. I forgot to mention a kickstarter campaign my SeaDoc friend Brian recently launched for a film about the 619 building where artists lived and worked before the tunnel came along and changed all that. It looks to me like it could be a really good doc. I'm going to post the link here, assuming that's ok to do. Let me know if that's bad etiquette, Stuart.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
