DocuTalk@911 Seattle Media Arts Center (new venue)

New location!  We are coming back home and meeting at 911 Media Arts Center.  There is a classroom space with a nice projector for viewing.  It is quiet, intimate and private.

Our meetings are for networking and sharing of ideas. Feel free to bring a short clip of something that you're working on, that you've completed or just something that inspires you. Something to inspire conversation. We can handle almost any format.  If you have some interesting hardware or camera to show off, please do.

So come and meet other documentary film makers / enthusiasts.  You might just meet the next camera operator, editor or producer for your next or current project.  Don't forget to bring your business cards.  We usually run over two hours.  I'm not strict on the time, whatever works for people.

I am interested and open to ideas concerning future meetings.  I'd like your feedback and suggestions.

Last night was really fun. I enjoyed seeing people's work. And it's always a pleasure to share in an accepting and constructive gathering.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
