Seattle DocuTalk Message Board › 2014 Seattle International Film Festival Positions & the Seattle Documen
I applied to SIFF and I am wondering if anyone is else is working or volunteering there this year? Also, is anyone involved with the Seattle Documentary Association? I just found out about them and I am very intrigued...doc film making is still my dream job! I would love to connect with those of you who are making documentaries currently. Here is the website for the SDA: http://seattledocumen...
Here is a really poor production quality/old doc I never got to finish that I shot by myself on a sprained ankle...haha:
I have some ideas for documentaries that I would like to share with those who would like to collaborate. I just returned from living in Vienna Austria for the last year and a half. I recently earned my Masters of Arts (International Relations). I have been out of film making/TV for about 4 years. I am crazy busy job hunting now, but I look forward to getting involved with everyone. I do not want to pony up the dough to go to film school and would prefer to use film as a hobby - but if it translates to a career, great! I have a backgound in fundraising and marketing so I am considering looking into film producing. Any suggestions? I am currently volunteering with the Association of Fundraising Professionals as well. Here is my facebook as well as professional background/linkedin profile - feel free to connect - if anyone knows an org/company my skills might be a good fit for, by all means, let me know:
On a side note - I am going on a road-trip down the Pacific Coast Highway from Seattle to San Francisco if anyone has any sighseeing recommedations???
