Announcing a new Meetup for Eastside Skiing/boarding adventure group!

What: KPC?s Ultimate Rock Show at the Kirkland Performance Center

When: Saturday, August 28,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Kirkland Performance Center
350 Kirkland Ave
Kirkland, WA 98033

The Kirkland Performance Center will be opening it's season with an Ultimate Rock Show on Saturday the 28th at 8:00 PM
Tickets are $10.00 for those over 21, and that includes a beer to help you get into your rocking mood.
The singer of one of the bands also plays on our meetup softball team, Jamie Love of the band Out From Underneath. The softball team? Jim Masters and Jim Anderson came up with the name Chicks and Dicks, groan........and got me to sponsor it. We're having fun, but it's getting near the end of the season, and not quite skiing season, which darn it, I'm going to be doing a bunch of this year.

For those that haven't been at the Kirkland Performance Center, it's holds 400 people, serves wine and beer, great light shows for the performers. It's about as kick ass as you can get on the East side of Seattle. The sound system is better then anything else I can think of, even Big Daddy's takes a second place to this venue when it comes to sound.

More information here with video clips and links to the bands.

Jamie's band won "Best Rock Band" from Hot Rocks TV in 2009, which was presented at the Triple Door in Seattle.
Their most seen music video was shot for a movie, the third album is the movie sound track.
But hey, it's just going to be good times. See you there, and lets hope that snow comes a bit quicker this year.
