I would like a comfortable and welcoming environment where I can relax and focus and reconnect with how I felt in art school (minus the teen angst)- that meditative zone of creation. Meeting people would be a nice bonus.
I am always looking for creative solutions and ways to make something better/easier/more beautiful. I'm a mom and that takes up enough time that I have to schedule in my individual pursuits. I love reading, drawing, designing, various crafts, music, dancing, and most of all, laughing.
I would love to feel truly "finished" with just about any project. I have a few sewing projects I am trying to resolve...
charcoal, pastels, oil pastels for drawing. I dabble in jewelry fabrication and fiber art as time allows.
Reading and a bit of writing, health and wellness, some outdoorsy activities if wardrobe allows. (I still haven't bought hiking boots...)
I've been in Seattle for about 8 years, have moved around a lot, am trained as a chef, but have more interests than that. Art is a constant in my life in some form or another.
