I was a figure model for many years and I would like to see what it's like to be on the other side of the easel. The only thing that I would like is a respectful and supportive environment in which to create.
Art as a meditation practice that allows us to be present and vulnerable in the creative moment, without being attached to an outcome of perfection. Anticipation without expectation. Chasing gorgeous light. Attempting to explain the truths I experience about an object, narrative or idea by making it into a sketch or photograph or painting. Following the curious. Making authentic heart connections.
I have lots of current art projects. But currently none of them need help. : )
Pencils, charcoal, fabric scraps, acrylics, water colors.
Social Justice. Cultural Anthropology. How individuals and collectives make meaning. Photography. The Dharma.
Greetings! As the daughter of a folk artist and doll maker, I've been fascinated by and engaged in some kind of creative process since I was a small child.
