Photo scavenger hunt meets Webster?s Image-Oriented Objective Dictionary.
Each photographer gets the same photo assignment of finding a photo/subject that would fit a caption like "gritty" or "ugly" or "urban" (I have 20 subjective words in mind but would happily take recommendations) -- and everyone would have an hour to go from the starting point to the baseball and football stadiums to take photos from that list. The end result is really to show definitions of words through images -- and vice versa. Twenty photographers? Then 20 different versions of what "gritty" looks like.
After the photo taking, head to one-hour photo in the area (Costco) and digital and analog can unite as everyone prints off their ONE great photo that defines the word, then head to drink a coffee or tea (believe it or not), review the photos, chat a bit, and then head back and post said single photo from the list that fits under the caption on Flickr.
