Let's check out some books and architecture at the Central, Seattle Public Library: http://www.spl.org/locations/central-library
We'll meet at 1:00 PM on Sunday and explore the ins and outs of the building. After a couple of hours, we could head towards 1st Ave to somewhere like Fado or Pike Brewery for a post stroll snack.
We did this 4 years ago and it was a lot of fun. The architecture is fantastic and there are fun spaces like the "red floor", escalators and beyond. Here are some images from 2009, when we did this the first time: http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=stroll0904
Rules: No Tripods or Flash
Having done this before I would definitely recommend that when we go in we should spread out and explore in very small groups or on our own, as I want to ensure we do not disturb anyone there.
With that in mind, I'm going to set a RSVP limit. Please only RSVP yes, if you truly can make it.
Note: This is a quiet place, so please be respectful of the environment!
