Photography has helped me to find beauty in the world. It takes me places I've never been and introduces me to people I might never otherwise meet. I love the creative aspect of it, and I love that I'm always learning something new.
Networking and learning opportunities.

I live in Olympia and do a lot of portrait and wedding shooting, and help new models build portfolios. I also love getting outdoors and taking scenic and macro shots.
I love the sheer immensity of the site and the variety. I hate all of the picture collectors and perverts that want to be your "friend" for reasons that aren't artistic or creative.

Hi Greg. Thanks for the welcome. I had intended to come to the meetup tonight, but will have to take a rain check. I have another commitment at 7:00. I'm hoping to be able to make the model shoot on the 15th if there is still space. Best, Ron
Thanks for the welcome...hope to meet the group soon. I just got up here a week ago and still getting situated.
Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I rarely shoot for fun anymore which is a shame since I've got a9 month old. Hoping having a local group close to home that that can spur some creativity in me! I'd love to get as far away from that big "A" as possible.
Thank you for the welcome Greg. I am excited to meet the local photographers in my new hood.
Thank you for the welcome Greg. I hope I'll be able to make a meeting of the Olympia group soon! If you want to suggest a good local photography opportunity to the group, I'll be with a team on Friday at Sand in the City building a sand sculpture!
Hi Greg! I hope I can make it, Wednesdays are my ballet class. Darn overscheduling!!
Thanks for the greeting, Greg! I look forward to any and all of the events I can attend.
Thank you for the welcome to the group. I look forward to learning more and meeting fellow photo enthusiasts. :o)
thanks for the greeting Greg. I live in bremerton, so I probably won't be going to many olympia events. All the Best, Mallory
