Hey there! Been shooting since the early 80s, everything from street/journalistic-like stuff, tabletop,etc.. And now I love doing and teaching "computational photography," a phrase I learned a few days ago.
Freshness of vision and a kick in the pants to shoot more and push pixels (a little) less. Also, to make me a better teacher.
quillNpixel http://www.luminousworks.com I started shooting to make images to manipulate on a computer in the 80s. Then I was hooked, and the whole process (wet or dig. darkroom) has me forever!
texture!! Color, b&w or a mix.
Love the diversity and openness. Hate....too new yet.
Dig. But I've shot more film than I care to think about, and have breathed enough fixer-fumes to need no other preservative, I'm sure.

I am looking forward to your discussion on masking techniques. I would love to see a step by step and layer by layer process on a actual project. For some reason, no guidebook including "Teach Yourself Visually:Photoshop CS3" shows the steps involved to a level that makes the process easy to follow. Thanks. Hilary
You must be the other "Steve" that Steve H told me to be on the look-out for. (ponytail and beige jacket?)
