I am definitely into this group but the only event I saw so far was the
cheese event and it was cancelled. If the group survives I'll make
more of an effort to go. It would be great to get permission from some
restaurants or hotels to take photos in the kitchen or in buffet areas
before the guest arrive but as food is being brought out. Also, a
bakery or a cake shop would be really awesome. I work with a caterer
and even with food constantly being made they rarely let me photograph
a "ready plate"...

When I started this group, I was excited to find others in Seattle that
were interested in food & photography. Over the last year, we've
had a couple of good meet-ups, but I'm finding that I rarely have the
time to organize the meetups, and turn out tends to be quite low.
While I'd love to continue the group if folks are interested, I'm going
to have to retire it unless I can get a few other folks to help assist
and organize the meetings.
