Depending on the crowd, we often start with a beginner tutorial for people totally inexperienced with Blender; the experts spend this time on a speed modeling competition. Then there's a solid chunk of time where people who've done anything cool in Blender can show off their projects. Lastly, if anyone has questions about Blender specifics, they can get help on those specific problems.

Sure! I haven't been to one before -- what's the meeting format like?

Shame to miss you! Would you be interested in presenting some of your work at a future Seabug?

Not going to work out for me this time, alas -- I hope to meet everyone next time!

I really do love Blender -- taught myself Blender and the UDK and made my own game last summer. It'd be great to meet other like-minded people. :)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
