I love cooking for people and having people over for dinner so I want to learn all I can :-)
I can't say I have a favorite but I use a lot of jeera, cardamom, haldi, mustard seeds, red chili, garam masala, and salt. The only spice I try to stay away from is cinnamon since I have a slight allergy but since it's in garam masala, I have decided that I am going to build up a tolerance for it :-)
Shahi paneer, chicken tikka masala, gobi manchurian, gulab jamun, mango lassi, and raita. I am up for learning how to make anything.
I've been cooking (and eating!) Indian food for over 3 years now. I've honed my skills on my main taste tester: aka my boyfriend, Teja. I love trying new Indian restaurants in the area and trying our new recipes at home.
