Lean UX: What is it and how it's getting done Dec 11

Hi All,

How Lean is your UX? Andrew Mottaz, founder and CTO of Site9, Inc in Portland, Oregon, will be presenting and leading a discussion on Lean UX: what it is, how it works, and how people are doing it. The talk and discussion are based on roundtables held in Portland, Seattle and Chicago over the past year, along with Site9's experiences internally and with customers. The goal of this talk is to facilitate a discussion and to get people thinking about and motivated to try Lean techniques.

Networking Starts & Refreshments at 7 pm. We'll give Andrew the stage at 7:45pm. If there are any topics related to Lean UX that you are particularly interested in discussing and hearing Andrew address, please submit them when you register for the event. Note that we have also knocked the registration fee down to $7.00 due to generous sponsorship from Site9.

Site9 is the creator of ProtoShare--a web-based, collaborative wireframing and prototyping tool. It has a WYSIWYG drag-and-drop interface, as well as advanced components users can customize. ProtoShare is not a Flash tool; it uses HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Hope to see a crowd in December!

I was sad to miss the beginning of Andrew's talk. Did anyone record, and/or would Andrew be willing to share his slides?

Lean is a method of approach the design process. Presentation definitely sparked conversations about the depth of integrating Lean into the process.

Questions (and answers) from the audience were brilliant, this is a very smart group of people.

During my pitch about ConveyUX, I forgot to mention the early discount deadline is Dec. 22. Use the code "meetup" to save an additional $50 off current prices. ConveyUX.com.
