Filter is seeking a UX Architect to join this retailer and lead user-centered design activities such as gathering, validating, analyzing, and defining requirements, conducting user experience and information architecture activities and creating and planning digital interfaces! Your documents will act as project requirement guidelines for interactive team members and vendor partners, supporting the successful completion of interactive projects for the company!
Plus, this contract opportunity could go permanent!
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
•As assigned, assume UX leadership within project teams.
•Work with brand leadership, business and technical project team members to define and document requirements (business, stakeholder, user, and content) and success metrics (quantitative and qualitative), overall user experience vision on projects, and recommend strategically sound solutions to meet business needs.
•Work with leadership, product development, design and technical leads, project management and merchandising to identify business requirements and articulate them in written requirements and specifications.
•Conduct small scale usability testing.
•Provide consultation to designers and developers to ensure defined UX-planning is executed.
•Provide consultation to project teams on interaction approach, usability, information taxonomy, and navigation.
•Apply, evangelize, and train others in best practices for user-centered design and user research.
•Stay current with core web development technology trends, capabilities, and limitations.
•UX- and IA-related documentation, such as personas, use cases, requirements, flow diagrams, taxonomy definitions, content inventories, content maps, site maps, and wireframes.
SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
•Experience in requirements gathering and user research.
•Knowledge of web standards, technologies, and terminology.
•Solid understanding of interaction design principles.
•Ability to fulfill, facilitate, or lead any or all UX/IA duties.
•3 to 5+ years of experience in UX/IA field, or equivalent.
